The Bible

The Holy Bible is a very small book. There are well over one million words in the English language. The vocabulary of the Bible constitutes about 6,000 words. A week-end edition of a newspaper has been known to contain over 20,000 words.

Every imaginable devise has been used to destroy the Written Word of God. It has been burned, ridiculed, misconstrued and commercialized. There have been ceaseless attempts to euphemize it's precision of truth with less offensive words for disagreeable truth.

The Word of God is recorded on highly combustible material. One would never choose parchment or paper to go through such a volatile environment. The Words of it's prophets were preserved in the midst of the people who slew them because of their utterance.

Whether written or spoken, the Word of God is indestructible. It is the revelation of Jesus the Eternal Word. It stands by Divine decree, every jot and title will be fulfilled to the dotting of the "i" and crossing of the "t".

The Word of God is a unique document because of what appears to be un-recorded. The Holy Spirit reveals the unwritten magnitude and glory of Jesus and then confirms it in the little Book. We then see it was written there all the while.

This is the Lord's Way to enfold the macrocosm in the microcosm.

He puts the mighty oak in the acorn and the Bread of life in a Single Corn of Wheat.

He enfolds the Infinite within the Finite, 2 Cor. 4:7 " But we have this treasure in earthen vessels. "

There is great potential in concealment, it provides the site for revelation. Mark 4:11 " To you it has been given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God: But to those who are outside, all things come in parables.

The simplest way to make one room out of two is , "remove the wall."

"For He Himself is our peace, who has made both One and has broken down the middle wall of division between us." (Eph. 2:14)
