Appearance and Reality Mother of Mankind
Reference Point Jesus apprehended and called me in the 1930's, I have never found or does it exist in Him, the capacity to hate another human being. Without question, "God is Love". He has revealed His quality of love, completely, in His Son 'Jesus'. He so loved corruptible Mankind that He gave His only begotten Son to redeem us. I can not find any hate in Jesus who asked forgiveness for His murderers while the nails are still pinning Him to the Cross. If our goal is to love mankind any less than this, we are liars, have never known Him, and the truth is not in us. God is love and He, by nature, must love absolutely. Although true, this is sometimes hard to handle. It does not jade or eliminate the necessity for jurisprudence and the verdicts of criminal justice. This creates the ultimate oxymoron, Jesus, full of grace and tender mercies, had a hate-love with Mankind. In that He is omnipotent and love absolutely then, His 'hatred' had to be absolute. Genesis 3:20 Adam called his wife's name Eve because she was the mother of all living. After the fall, the thrusting forth of the first prodigal into a hostile world, there was a new beginning, mankind, the Human Race. Adam and Eve (Man) became the site of the genetically flawed Race of Man. 1Kings 19:11-13 "The Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; after the earthquake a fire but the Lord was not in the fire; after the fire a Still Small (whispering) Voice. Fifty-five years ago, I arrived in a strange country with a multiplicity of languages and cultures. In fact, to me, it was like being caught up in a vortex of insoluble problems. I saw about two hundred men, each wearing a single cloth, squatting down in a circle. Totally unaware of what was politically incorrect, I squatted down behind the last row of men. Later I learned these people were Coolies, looked upon as sub-humans. In the center of the circle a man with a cane stood over four or five bloody coolies beating them, lecturing and cursing the rest among whom I was sitting unnoticed. A still small voice spoke to my heart, "all these are your relatives, the oppressed and the oppressor."We hear and read about things and we parrot them. However, when you are part of an event, and it flows through your life experience, it is never forgotten. Later, walking down a country road, I passed cringing Lepers with great patches of putrefying flesh, hands with no fingers, faces without nose or ears. Again the still small voice spoke in my heart, "these are you relatives". I passed people with elephantiasis, often, accompanied with starving, crying children. Now and then a dead body that had not been picked up. Again, the still small voice, "These are your relatives". Others were passing down the same road. They were well fed and clothed, totally unaware of what was around them. They had mentally blocked them out long ago. I found myself crying out. "help these people, they are suffering", their response was a blank stare. Again the still small voice, "both the suffering and the indifferent are your relatives". Later, when a famine had taken almost a half million lives, I heard an affluent gentleman comment to people of like social status, " the famine was a failure, it should have taken two million." Again I heard the still small voice in my heart, "these are your relatives". I often heard the well fed, socially prominent, philosophically comment, "if there was a God He wouldn't allow all this agony". Many articles have been written on suffering and hunger by people who never suffered or went one day without a meal. Remarkably, I never heard one suffering, starving Human blame or deny the existence of God. A few years later I was, at the same time, in the presence of a number of families, all from different backgrounds. One Oriental, another Aborigines, another African and various mixtures. Suddenly, I imagined myself, and all present, regressing. Genealogy reversed itself and we all went back, from generation to generation through the loins of our ancestors. The world population became smaller and smaller. We all arrived at the same source, enfolded in the womb of Eve, planted by the seed of Adam. Even if you subscribe to the current purposeless belief that we evolved out of a primeval swamp, "you all came out of the same swamp". If the Lord had created Man to be a robot or automaton, He would have, long ago, turned off the power and replaced the parts. Acts 17:26 "God has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, So they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us." The Apostle Paul uttered these words to Athenians and Foreigners totally given over to idolatry. All occupying the same space, all breathing the same atmosphere; Paul, including himself among them, magnifies the omnipresence of God. Declaring," In HIM we live and move and have our being." The only difference, the Athenians had not experienced Redemption and did not know in Whom they lived, moved and had their being. The common denominators of Mankind are flesh, blood and death. Jn. 3:6 " That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Rom.2:9,11 "tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Gentile." "For there is no partiality with God." 1 Cor.15:50 " Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption." The only way of escape is to be reborn into a New Creation through Redemption by our Savior Jesus. Jn.3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Matt.28:18 " All authority has been given to Me (Jesus) in Heaven and on Earth." John 19:30 The Alpha and The Omega on the Cross, cried, "It is finished!" All Covenants and Promises Consummate in Him. All claims to real estate in Palestine consummate in Him. The past, present and future consummate in Him. He is not only a Person He is the Messianic State. He is the Christ and if any man be in Christ he is a New Creation. In Christ all distinctions vanish. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 1:10 "That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth--in Him." "Christ in you the Hope of Glory."
Once a slave-master convinces you that your bondage is Divine order; you will never hear the, unwavering, blast of the Jubilee Trumpet. "It has been sounding since the Day of Pentecost."
